NEWS UPDATE; English Surfing Federation and SurfingGB consolidation

The Scottish Surfing Federation (the SSF) would like to share their support of today’s announcement on the consolidation of the English Surfing Federation and SurfingGB to manage the sport within England going forward under the single entity of the English Surfing Federation.

‘It is recognised there has been a lot of work behind the scenes in recent months from both organisations and we commend the hard work done to date. Currently the Scottish Surfing Federation, Welsh Surfing Federation and and the Channel Islands Surfing Federation are each recognised as the governing bodies within their respective jurisdictions. The announcement today will provide a pathway for recognition for the English Surfing Federation and we look forward to working along with our fellow federations supporting the team through a seamless transition period in the coming months.’
